Thread: Broken Knee :_:

    Broken Knee :_:

Ok, my cat has a broken knee.((I've already taken him to the vet.)) He's about 7 years old and he's about 16 lbs too. The vet told me the knee might heal it's self but is unlikely, I sadly can't afford the $700+ bill to get it fixed.
Are there any ways I can make my cat more comfortable and dual his pain? Or ways to lower the bill?
Has any one else had an experience like this(on this forum)?

Work out a deal with your vet to take payments toward the cats care. They will usually take some money down and then allow you to make payments over time. There are also web services that do this as well.

You absolutely need to take crae of your cat. I know it is expensive, but you need to do what you can to care for your feline friend.

This place can help you - they will make SURE that the payments work within your budget! http://www.carecredit.com/

I saw on another forum where the leg was splinted to see if it would heal probably (but I don't believe the knee was broken). I saw this site a while back and it is for splints and such for handicapped pets--you could check with your vet to see if something there might work and be less expensive http://handicappedpets.com/splints/
