my love bird has lost their mate!!!

My love bird has lost their mate! I am not sure of the sex of the remaining love bird, but I am worried that he or she is lonely. The lovebird shrieks and sings all day, mimicking the wild birds outside and calling to them.

Should i try to find another single love bird and pair them up again? The love bird I have is one and a half years old.

Yep. She will probably adjust very nicely to a new bird. Lovebirds do not do very well alone unless they have a strong attachment to their owner.
