    My cat won't eat

My cat is a really fussy eater.

When he was a kitten he used to eat eggs and milk. But he started turning up his nose at them before too long. Now he only eats fresh, boiled fish. I've tried everything, canned food...nothing works.

He'll eat dry food though. He prefers friskies but will settle for whiskas. I guess my question would be - is this a healthy diet? He eats very little, whether it's dry food or fresh fish. He's almost starving.

I've taken him to the vet and this is what he recommended:

Stop feeding him three times day.
Just make it twice a day.
    Maintain very strict meal times.
Clear the food away after half an hour regardless.
Do not leave it lying around.

He also gave him vitamin supplements and tablets for his liver called liv52 I think.

Anyway that didn't work either =(
Both the vet and all of us are stumped. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated. Thankyou.

Hi Cataholic: What I discovered was that cats are actually more meat eaters. Here's an article from a vet center about meat and fish and it might help you with some info. http://www.thepetcenter.com/imtop/contrast.html
