    Tail Rubbing

My horse seems to be rubbing the top part of her tail off, to where there is only about of 1-2 inches in length, Sheis up on wormings and there is no lice, so why does she keep doing this? Any suggestions.

Depend on what you are deworming her with, NOT all dewormers GET ALL worms. For example Tape worms REQUIRE a double does of Strongid ( I believe) or the new combination Ivermectin mix specially formulate for tape owrms.

Other reasons for tail rubbing include Allergies. If you have a bunch of flying tiny little gnats, she could have an allergy to their bites.

And also have you cleand her udder recenly? many time tail rubbing is also seen in mares and gelding who need to be cleaned in udder or sheath region.
