Hi I'm a wild life rehabber in NY
I have a baby starling in my care who has a very soft ticking sound when breathing and is breathing the tiniest bit heavy. He is chirping away and eating just fine though seems a bit lethargic but could just be tired he's been chirping allll day . I switched to a less liquid diet just incase he aspirated but I didn't see any signs of aspiration since I've had him though someone did have him before I did. Is there anything I should do? I brought him in the bathroom when I took a shower like I do when my mammals have upper respatory infections.
