Hello, I am an engineering student who wants to design a way to stop pets from running away from their owners or their homes. Did you know that one third of pets in the United states go missing at some point in their lives? And adding to this, only around 80% of these lost animals are ever found.

I wasn't aware so many American pets have problems with going missing, that must be terrifying for them and their owners.
Best of luck with creating a way of helping keep pets with their owners! I'm unable to undertake your survey currently but will aim to do so when I can. Are you open to getting information from non-United States residents?
