Bird Dance Bird That Migrates 70,900 km (44,100 mi) Each Year

So this bird called the Arctic Tern makes a yearly round trip from Netherlands, Greenland or Iceland down to Antarctica. I just read about this in an article about animal migrations which i will link at the bottom of the post but i was blown away by the distance. When i travel for 60 miles (96 kilometers) it takes about 1 hour and i feel a bit tired. This is me traveling in my car by the way not flapping my wings or anything. It is so amazing to me that these birds travel almost 1,000 times that amount without a car and somehow survive. if anybody is interested in any other cool migrations check out this article it also mentions sea turtles, butterflies, whales, dragonflies and many others. peace out :)

Birds are certainly incredible. Their adaptions for flight (air sacs, keel bone, bones especially light) all allow them to sustain flight. It is quite amazing.

I'm just surprised they don't get bored flying for such long distances

i think it's because they usually fly in small groups wrax, so they have some company, a bit less boring that way maybe. but yea flying alone wouldn't be super fun after a few hours lol. i just imagine a bird flying around with like headphones on listening to the radio :D... im sure they have their way of keeping things interesting.
