Welcome to the forum. I am sorry to read about the problems which your dog is suffering at the moment.
I am glad that you are in regular contact with the vet. S/he is a specialist in animal health.
That said, it does seem to me that the large numbers of medications which are being administered, apparently concurrently, have had side effects. On the side effects of metoclopramide, an anti-emetic, see:
https://www.petmd.com/pet-medication/metoclopramide
The side effects can, in some cases, be worse that the original condition! It is better to find the actual cause of the vomiting, and deal with that, rather than masking the symptoms.
For pepcid, see:

Prednisone is a powerful steroid and should not be used long-term, as side effects can be serious. See:
https://www.petmd.com/pet-medication...e-prednisolone
Of course you must keep in regular contact with your vet, but this does not exclude looking at natural remedies for vomiting. You do not state where you live, but I use this website in the UK and often buy products there for my own dog. It is called Dorwest and they are very helpful. You can phone them on +44 1308-897-272 and they will advise on what products might help. Their products use natural plant extracts, not chemicals, but they are veterinary approved. Their site is at:

Disclaimer: I have absolutely no connection, either financial or personal, with this company. I am mentioning it solely to help you.
Every best wish to you and the dog whom you are fostering. Good karma to you for doing the fostering!
