Siberian Husky too Moody after Giving Birth

Recently, my cousin's siberian husky gave birth to three cute puppies -- that dog is always angry after giving birth to her paws. She tends to bark on anyone especially at night, she also hates it when you go near the basket where her babies rest. She even bite Mom, which makes us worry. I don't know if it is hormonal imbalance as what they refer it to us human -- I feel like it isn't safe going near her anymore especially for the kids.

It's most likely just the way she is, over protective mother, some dogs are just more protective of their pups.
My mum who's a dog breeder has had a couple like this, after a few weeks, when the pups are older, the mother tends to calm down.

She really is protective as she tends to be angry every we go near her, but you are right its normal for a parent to be over-protective of their puppies. :)

This is actually pretty normal for a mother dog. They do not like too much action around where their pups are. They don't like too many people coming and going, fussing over their pups, handling them....and don't trust children one bit (usually!)
The mother and pups may need a quiet space somewhere, in a place where there isn't too much noise and 'traffic' in and out.

But there should be one human whom they will trust, and allow to touch the pups. That could be important perhaps, say if one of the pups became ill, or needed special attention. Also it helps to socialise the pups to human contact.

It is a natural mother's instinct. She is just doing the job God gave her. She is not to be blamed. But as I said, she should trust and allow one human near them. Someone who has a strong bond with her and who is calm and respectful with her and her young ones.

This will change, as Frolicking Ferrets said, when the pups are older and she begins to weary of them a bit.
