My fuzzies

I thought it'd be a good idea to introduce my ferrets, Willow, Whisper, Vinnie, Nancy and Jimmy, also my polecat Bandit :)

Willow, she's a very cheerful ferret that has never caused any problems when introducing new ferrets to the group, always welcoming to other ferrets and even people, she loves to be centre of attention, just like Vinnie.

This is Whisper, my silver jill, though she's more like a dark eyed white at the moment, she's Willow's sister.

Vinnie is my oldest ferret at the moment, I brought him as a vasectomised hob but he wasn't as he produced two litters last year with Nancy and Whisper, thought he hasn't produced any this year so I'm just unsure as to whether or not he's vasectomised. He's a lovely and lively ferret who loves to play and loves to play with Willow the most out of all the fuzzies I have.

Nancy is my next oldest ferret, only a month behind Vinnie. When I first got Nancy last year, I thought she was dead but turns out she's just has selective hearing lol. And she also wouldn't play, she always seemed traumatised by ferrets engaging her in play and even with people but recently she has started playing and will have a massive war dance every now and then :)

Jimmy is my newest out of them all, I've had him since early March and he settled well and has come a long way with his temperament. Before I had him, he was fear aggressive because he was never handled as a kit so would always bite where E someone tried to pick him up or pet him and now, he's the big softy who likes to cuddle and fall asleep on my lap, he's also good with children like the rest of the ferrets too :D

And lastly there's Bandit the polecat, though not a ferret, however she does live with them and is very friendly for a polecat, gets along fine with the ferrets and is better with people too now unlike when she was a kit, she used to always sink her teeth me and anyone who handle her and bite down to the bone. Now though, she doesn't unless provoked, she hasn't been handled by children yet either.
Bandit is timid for the most part but does take a liking to certain people, for example, she get along very well with one of the judges at the Ashfield ferret club.

Lovely pictures! I wouldn't fancy being bitten down to the bone too often though, LOL!

So Bandit has won prizes at shows already?

Lol, it's worse than being bitten by a snake and apparently those that have been bitten by foxes would rather be bitten by a fox again any day over a ferret or polecat.

And yes, she is last year's grand champion :D
