I didn't know badgers were this intelligent

This badger is an incredible escape artist – You will be amazed by his cunning!

This honey badger in Australia is phenomenally clever - the way he keeps escaping from his pen and is ingenuity are astonishing.

    See here:

It is a BBC video - aplogies if it is not new to you - I just had to share.

Welcome to the forum! Please pass by the introductions section to say hello to members and to tell us a little about yourself.

The video is interesting and thank you for posting the link. I hadn't seen it before and it certainly shows the intelligence of honey badgers. The only other thought that occurs to me is, "If they are that desperate to escape, maybe they should be where they want to be - in the wild, free to roam, rather than in a concrete enclosure".

A very warm welcome to the forum, dear Ian.

Saw this the other week. A whole programme on honey badgers! Very clever, very strong and very aggressive - you don't want to upset them, that's for sure!
All this talk of religion, but it's how you live your life that is the all-important thing.
If you set out each day to do all the goodness and kindness that you can, and to do no harm to man or beast, then you are walking the highest path.
And when your time is up, if you can leave the earth a better place than you found it, then yours will have been a life well lived.
