Cat thrown hard 20 feet in the air-News Story

Police arrested a Henry County man in connection with an animal cruelty incident caught on tape.
Detectives said that William Morse, 38, is the man on a security video tossing a pet cat about 20-feet into the air during a burglary at the Georgia Forestry Commission in McDonough.
Police arrested Morse Jan. 2 during a search of his home at 2044 Keys Ferry Road, McDonough Ga. Officers said they found a plastic bag containing suspected methamphetamines and a .22 caliber rifle at the home.
Morse was charged with possession of narcotics, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, burglary and cruelty to animals.
The video is just awful and is caught on tape. The cat survived but is in recovery. I cannot believe someone would do that to any animal.

Heres a link to the story from WSBTV News
and the video if you can watch it.

I didn't watch the video, but am always appalled when people treat animals this way. The only thing we can do is try to influence others regarding treatment of animals. The way we treat our animals and other people defines who and what we are.
