Hi I'm new to this forum

Hi, I'm new to this forum, I've never before approached groups like this. Just a month ago I got a new pooch, a cute little Golden Retriever. With her waging all day behind me I feel like “Mary had a little pooch”. I need some help about her bed. With all the amount of hair she has, I don't know whether I should go for some nice warm thick bed or something light and cooler. Hoping for some helpful replies from pet-lovers like you all.

Oh, she is so cute, I don't know if I can type. :D

The beds with fleece lining are my favorite. The fleece makes a layer of air which can help keep them cool when it is too hot...and since the dog is on top
of the fleece, it works just as much for comfort as for warmth. I love the
oval shaped ones made from foam and slip-covered with a fabric on the bottom and the fleece inside and around the edges of the bed. The dogs really appreciate the way they can lean on the sides of a bed like this.
It is very comfortable for them to be "bolstered".

Abby has a couple of the flat pads, too, for various nap spots.

P.S. Welcome to the forum, don't be a stranger.

hi sophia and welcome to the boards :P i use fleece blankets also but i like to layer mine up so when its cold a thick fleece goes on and when its cool i put a cotton sheet on the fleece layers.
