sneezing , wheezing, bad breath Daschund

About 3 months ago my 2 yr old female min daschund started sneezing a lot. These bouts have not stopped and lead to a period where she also started to gag akin to someone with athsma. The vet said her tonsils had become inflamed, a secondary infection but he cannot ascertain the cause or cure. The gaging has since stopped but the sneezing goes on leaving constant discharge on her blankets etc. Her breath has started to smell horrendously, a sick smell preventing anyone from even picking her up, I really need help here as I hate not being able to give her the affection she is used to.

OMG, Get her to a vet, quickly, she probably has an infection some where in her lungs or throat. The sick smell is not good. I would get her to a diffrent vet ASAP for another diognosis.
The reason dogs are great is they wag their tails, not their tongues.
