my kitten bites my ear in the morning to wake me up every day... and it's starting to get to the point where it hurts! does anyone have suggestions on how to train him NOT to bite my ears? i don't mind that they like sleeping with us, but that behavior is starting to make me very cranky in the morning.

My cat will sometimes bite my nose to wake me up. Not hard, just enough to wake you up. She has recently stopped doing it but it use to drive me nuts. The last thing you want is your cat to bite you first thing in the morning.
Your cat shows affection to you. Your cat gets bore alone so he want you to wake up and give him company.
