    Im so sad for hearing about your best friend. But it happens and what you should be thinking is all the awesome memories you have. I know how you feel because I have lost many of my beloved felines (they did not die of age, but other sad reasons). And I was crying my eyes out. It will get better after a time, believe me. He was not taken away from you. It was his time on earth that was finished. He was not young anymore and his time was over, but he will never be gone, because he still have a place in your heart that will always be occupied by him.
