Actually I have deleted over 20 today alone in three diffrent visits to the site. Unfortuantly even I can't be on this site all the time. I try to get on at least twice aday to keep on top of them. Sometimes life conspirers against me, and today someone is having alot of fun spamming, this is the worse day I have ever seen by far.

Thanks Smiffy, for the compliments and the heads up, I had to go to town this morning to get some food for the two leggers in my home, so I didn't get on until late. I think I got them all. Its been bad as of late, so much so that I haven't had the chance to greet the new comers. But to me it is important to keep this board clean and respectful for the people using it.

Thanks again and now I think I might go try and greet a few people.

So sorry for this...thanks Celtech for watching - I've been out of town since Thursday.

I hate when people do that - nothing better to do? Such a waste of their time and ours!

Thanks so much for the understanding folks, and for Celtech for going through and purging. If it becomes really bad, I'll have to look into what else we can do.

The more popular the boards become, unfortunately the more idiots that will find us!

Its not a problem Kerry, I have no problem looking after it, like I said, I'm in two to three times if not more a day just to check. And I have never encountered a day as bad as that one was, but 95% of the time there isn't anything that needs looking after, hopefully we wont get days that bad again or if we do, not for a very long time.

Hello KellyClair or any AnimalForum.com administrator,

I registered with the username ChrisMN, under my normal email address cmnicholes86@gmail.com and never recieved my activation email(checked spam and trash folders)

When I try to log in I am told that I need to contact to site administrator yet there is no link anywhere that I looked on the entire site for a link or something to let me coorespond with a site admin! :(

So I had to create a fake email addy, and fake user name to log in and request that my account under ChrisMN be activated, is there anyay that you could resend the activation email:?:

Thanks

Regards

Christopher N

I own website so I know how horrible this can be if you are under siege of spammers. I offer my time and experience about fight with spammers. You must be more faster to eliminate them for better atmosphere on the forum.
Before I set strict security rules I had about 7500 spammers per day, now I have about 10-15 spammers per week and it's really easy to handle them. Let me know if you're interested in :-)

Peace
