I was going by a lobster display at the local supermarket and saw all the lobsters in the tank.

What are the chances of making one a 'pet'? It would be a better life than one in a cookin pot.

ideas?

Our petstore gets them in all the time. They are babies so you can watch them grow up. Of course you have to have a large tank for them to get that big. However don't expect them to have much attitude or personality.

If you want one, just be sure you want the responsibility that goes along with their care. I thought about it once. But hubby would just wait for it to get big enough for the dinner pan 8)

I might have the same problem with my wife, lol.

It was just a thought, I grew up in Wyoming and am a transplant to the cape cod area, and thought it might be neat. ITs going to require a lot of research into what they eat, water conditions, etc. I am used to freshwater aquariums but this is a freshwater critter.

Thanks for the reply.
