Meet Forgy, our new dog. He is a poodle cross and we got him from a local dog refuge (shelter). He is already settling in well, despite being found stray/lost over three months ago.

Hi Forgy! Did you name him that? He certainly looks cute, any idea of his age?

Yes, his name "Forgy" was chosen, based on the word "Forgive". It is a long story, but if you want to know more it is best discussed by PM.

The vet at the refuge thought he was about four years old, but judging by his behaviour I would estimate that he is younger than that (perhaps two or three years old).

Hello LPC - check out our new dog.... We named her "honey" , now my wife will be confused as to who I'm calling, hahaha.... Sometimes we call her "Boo Boo" We think she is around one year old. She weighs 11 pounds and we rescued her from the local shelter in Silver City, NM. We have had her for over a week now and she has adopted us as her family and is a very lovable little girl dog.... We let her pick out her own toys from Gracie's huge stock pile of toys she left behind.... Been nice having a dog around the place again.... She is a wired hair terrier mix

How is forgy pronounced? is the "G" hard sound - like "for - gee" or soft g? like "for jee"

Good to hear from you again, David! What a cute dog you have there! Maybe Honey deserves her own thread, LOL! Forgy is pronounced with a hard "g" sound.

Here is a video of Forgy having fun with a sheet. Enjoy!

Thank you. Here he is in January this year, with two of Christmas presents: a dog bed (given my older son) and a dog-friendly teddy (given by a friend):

I like the dog-friendly teddy, the toys will become your pet’s best companion when you are not there. For my puppy I got a dog toy from an online store. They are the ideal ones to buy.

this dog is really cute. looks real cuddly and I bet he's smart. I love teaching a dog tricks and obedience. It's so much fun. Looks like you will be enjoying him for a long time. thanks for sharing.

Yes, he learns fast. He knows (and can do):
sit, lie down, roll over, up, pirouette, stay, come, walk (he is very good at walking on two legs, as most poodle-type dogs are).
