♦ Shark
These legendary predators have a terrible time distinguishing between the edible and the non-edible.
There chosen method? Sampling. They sample buoys, boats, surfboards, humans, anything that floats. Contrary to popular belief, however, they really aren’t man-eaters.

♦ Jellyfish
There are a number of species of box jellyfish, but they are all quite dangerous.
The sea wasp box jellyfish is perhaps the most deadly variety. This translucent sea-dweller may not look all that menacing, but it is the most venomous animal on planet Earth.

♦ Cape Buffalo
This is a particularly aggressive inhabitant of the African grasslands.
Cape buffalo have been known to charge victims without provocation. They have an asset —2,000 pounds of weight and the ability to charge at 40 miles an hour.

♦ Lion
While humans are generally not on their hit-list, some lions have been known to actively seek out human prey.

♦ Hippo
Although they are mostly herbivorous, they are also highly aggressive and are widely regarded as one of the most dangerous animals in Africa.

♦ Elephant
The world’s largest land animal, elephants can be fiercely aggressive and have been known to trample even a rhinoceros or two to death.

♦ Crocodile
Sitting at the top of its food chain the Saltwater Crocodile has been known to eat everything from water buffalo to sharks.

♦ Black Mamba (Snake)
One of the most feared creatures in the world, some experts have even called it “death incarnate”.
In Africa it is the source of numerous myths and legends and it is widely known for being highly aggressive, very fast, and attacking without provocation.

♦ Mosquitoes
Moving from one of the largest animals in the world we now come to one of the smallest. As small as it is though, it is also the deadliest.
It has been estimated that mosquitos transmit diseases to almost 700 million people annually resulting in 2 to 3 million deaths every year.

♦ Humans
Human beings may not stand to win in a fair fight against most of these species, but thanks to our ingenuity, we have learned how to arm ourselves with weapons and tools which have placed us at the top of the food chain (at least for the time being)
