Interesting article about how to ID burrowing animals by there burrows. I'm not real familiar with UK animals but I know we have Foxes, Moles, Rabbits and Badgers in the north american versions, ha .....

Oh, yes! I recognised a mole hole straight away. Farmers, sadly, often put lots of mole traps in the runs, to kill the moles and stop them making lots of giant heaps in their fields. I never kill a mole. If you cut the grass, or use other noisy equipment regularly, then the moles just go elsewhere. This year we have had more sheep in the field than normal and even the vibration from their walking about has meant almost no mole heaps. Moles don't like vibrations.
